The curriculum from this class comes the USMLE Step I content outline. Each of the links below will take you the corresponding page. Ultimately we will build up curriculum based on the Step II content outline, as well.

  • types of experimental studies (clinical trials, community intervention studies)

Step Two Content
Applied Biostatistics and Clinical Epidemiology

  • Understanding statistical concepts of measurement in medical practice
  • Interpretation of the medical literature

Step Three Content
Applied Biostatistics and Clinical Epidemiology

  • Understanding Statistical Concepts (eg, understanding statistical concepts, calculations of one thing/multiple things, mixed calculations/interpretations)
  • Interpretation of the Medical Literature (eg, interpretation of a study statement, reading a table or graph, evaluation of the validity of the author’s conclusion, identification of the study flaw, design of a study)

Seriously, the content outline says “calculation of one thing/multiple things.”
